Bratton, Susan Yoder, 86, of McVeytown, PA died May 11, 2020 at the same place. She was born February 24, 1934 at Belleville, Mifflin Co., PA to Steven I. Yoder. On August 22, 1953 she was married to Raymond Bratton, who survives.

Susan E. Bratton, 86, of Shady Lane, McVeytown, went to be with the Lord Monday, May 11, 2020, at her home.
Born Feb. 24, 1934, in Belleville, she was a daughter of the late Stephen I. and Fannie (Hartzler) Yoder. Her husband, Raymond A. Bratton, whom she married Aug. 22, 1953, survives.
Also surviving are: four children, Rhonda Collins and husband, Stanley, of Lewistown, Diane Yoder and husband, Lyle, Carol Stauffer and husband, James, Scott Bratton and husband, Ashley, all of McVeytown; a sister, Marie Werner, of Belleville; 15 grandchildren, Travis Woods, Vedra Wilt, Krista Carter, Mary Woods, Rebecca Collins, Staci Castello, Joe Young, Steven Yoder, Brittney Grabill, Ben Stauffer, Josh Stauffer, Katie Bratton, Kevin Bratton, Lily Bratton and Natalie Foster; 23 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
A homemaker, she also worked as a bookkeeper for S.I. Yoder Oil Co. and New Holland in Belleville, and Brookland Mills in McVeytown. She also had served as an auditor for Oliver Township.
Susan was a member of the Maple Grove Mennonite Church in Belleville, and the Ladies Quartet. She was involved with the Parent School Association at Strodes Mills Elementary and was a member of the Colonial Charlais Association.
She enjoyed gardening, playing piano, singing and cooking for her family. Along with her husband, she enjoyed attending many Charlais shows and sales throughout the country over the years.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with Pastor Alan Kauffman officiating.
Interment will be in Spring Run Cemetery, McVeytown.

Brenneman, Henry
March 25, 1949 - May 16, 2020
Henry Brenneman, age 71, of Harrisonburg, died May 16, 2020, of complications from COVID-19, at Sentara RMH, Harrisonburg, Va.
Born March 25, 1949, in Augusta County, he was a son of Benjamin F. and Salome Bechtel Brenneman. In addition to his parents, Henry was predeceased by two sisters, Naomi Brenneman and Esther Brenneman Grove; and two brothers, Charles and Francis.
Survivors include a sister, Louise Brenneman Tardy of Lexington; and three brothers, David of Staunton, James of Stuarts Draft, and Benjamin of Lynchburg, Va.
Henry was a resident of Pleasant View since 1973, and was presently living in the Showalter House on Erickson Avenue in Harrisonburg. He was active in community activities directed by Pleasant View. Henry attended Weavers Mennonite Church.
Burial will be private in Lindale Mennonite Church Cemetery in Linville, Va. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

Brenneman, Mattie J. Miller

Mattie J. Brenneman, 96 of Arthur, Illinois passed away at 6:00 A.M. on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Sunday, November 22, 2020 at the Brenneman family residence, 1760 County Road 2300 North, in rural Arthur, Illinois. Bishop Lavern Schrock will officiate. Burial will be in the Otto Cemetery in rural Arthur, Illinois.
Visitation will be held any time after 2:00 P.M. on Friday, November 20, 2020 at the family residence. The Edwards Funeral home is assisting with arrangements.
Mattie was born on November 16, 1924 in Arthur, Illinois. She was a daughter of Jacob S. and Emma (Gingerich) Miller. She married Noah S. Brenneman on December 4, 1945 in Arthur, Illinois. He passed away on February 6, 2015.
She is survived by six children, Glenn Brenneman and his wife Martha Ann (Chupp) of Arthur, IL, Sarah Ann Yoder and her husband John of Lovington, IL, Louise Brenneman of Arthur, IL, Elva Brenneman and his wife Linda (Jones) of Arthur, IL, Lonnie Brenneman and his wife Gertie Ann (Yoder) of Arthur, IL and Carol Otto and her husband David of Arthur, IL; 30 grandchildren, 79 great-grandchildren, 5 step-great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren, 1 step-great-great-grandchild, 1 sister-in-law, Edna Miller of Goshen, IN and 2 step-sisters-in-law, Annie Kaufman and her husband Daniel of Arthur, IL and Mrs. Amon (Katie) Miller.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jacob and Emma (Gingerich) Miller, her husband, Noah Brenneman, grandson, Marlin Otto, 10 brothers and 2 sisters.
Mattie was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Brenneman, Raymond Jay
January 6, 1931 -- March 1, 2020
Raymond Jay Brenneman, 89, of Bristol, died at 5:55 pm on Sunday, March 1 at his residence. He was born on January 6, 1931 in Kalona, IA, to Ezra and Katie (Swartzentruber) Brenneman. On February 16, 1957 in Kokomo, he married Fannie Bontrager; she survives.
Survivors in addition to his wife are three sons, Robert (Marla) Brenneman of Goshen, Rollin (Laura) Brenneman of Union, MI, Ronald Brenneman of Bristol; five grandchildren, Amber (Matt) Bloom, Michael (Lisa) Kauffman, Kyle Brenneman, Jezra (Becky) Brenneman, Breanna (James) Noffsinger; six great-grandchildren, Johnny Bell, Aabby Bell, Ellie Bloom, Simon Bloom, Ari Brenneman, Darcy Brenneman; sister, Shirley (Cal) Hochstedler of Kalona, IA.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two grandchildren, Matthew and Malachi Kauffman; three brothers, Stan, Rollin, and Eldon Brenneman; sister, Rose Brenneman.
Raymond was a farmer, carpenter and a truck driver. He was currently attending Bonneyville Mennonite Church and was a former member of Clinton Brick Mennonite Church.
Visitation will be from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 5:00 - 7:00 pm on Wednesday, March 4 at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, 1003 South Main Street, Middlebury. There will also be one hour of visitation prior to the 10:30 am funeral service on Thursday, March 5 at Foundation Community Church (formerly Clinton Brick Mennonite Church), 62499 SR 13, Goshen. Services will be conducted by Pastor David Hathaway. Burial will be in Clinton Brick Cemetery.
Brenneman, Timothy Bergey
December 23, 1951 - February 25, 2020
In the early morning hours of February 25, 2020, Timothy Bergey Brenneman left his earthly body for the embrace of God's loving arms. After living two and a half years with metastatic lung cancer, his body couldn't sustain life anymore.
Tim entered this world on December 23, 1951, to missionary parents in La Plata, Puerto Rico. He grew up in eastern Pennsylvania with his four siblings enjoying road trips around the United States, ice skating in the winter, and exploring the woods in the summer. His love for science led him to study physics at Eastern Mennonite College. He later earned a master's degree in education from James Madison University. He spent the majority of his professional life teaching high school science with a passion for chemistry and physics at Eastern Mennonite High School. Early in his career, he spent three years serving with Mennonite Central Committee in Tanzania as a teacher. His former students may recall reading Proverbs 1:7 at the top of every test, "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge."
For most of Tim's life he was known as a husband, father, friend, and teacher. In those roles he was thoughtful, humorous, and devoted--to his wife, children, students, and also to God. As a member of Harrisonburg Mennonite Church, he would sing hymns loudly with conviction and praise, teach Sunday school classes, lead worship, and participate in service projects.
Tim cared deeply about the Earth and all of its inhabitants, and as a result he was an active member of the Creation Care Committee at his church. He liked to stay busy outdoors with a running list of activities like camping, gardening, splitting wood, and carpentry projects. He also made a concerted effort to help his students learn about the environment and take steps to keep it healthy. Many may remember spotting him commuting on his bicycle with a crate attached to the back.
Tim is survived by his wife, three children, four grandchildren, mother, four siblings, and many in-laws and cousins. We all love him, miss him, and wish him peace in the arms of God.
A memorial service will be held at Harrisonburg Mennonite Church on April the 4th at 3:30 in the afternoon. Visitation will be held the evening before from 6:30-8:30 April the 3rd at Harrisonburg Mennonite Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Harrisonburg Mennonite Church-Creation Care Committee or Mennonite Central Committee.
Brown, Sheryl L.
December 23, 1976 - September 20, 2020
Sheryl L. Brown, 43, of Denver, passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2020, at Wellspan York Hospital.
She was born in Ephrata to Ronald W. and Martha W. (Horst) Brown, of Terre Hill.
She was a member of New Covenant Mennonite Fellowship where she served as a youth adviser, part of the worship team and in the children's ministry.
Sheryl was a kindergarten teacher for Gehman's Mennonite School for the past 15 years. She was a graduate of Garden Spot High School and received her early childhood education degree from HACC. She loved people, especially spending quality time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed playing games, going for walks and flowers. Sheryl loved a good adventure, like traveling and going to the mountains.
In addition to her parents, Sheryl is survived by three brothers, John J., husband of Julie (Moore) Brown of Lauschtown, Ron, husband of Stacy (Burkholder) Brown of Ephrata, Jeff, husband of Amy (Weber) Brown of Sinking Spring and a niece, Ivie Brown of Lauschtown.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2020, from 6 to 8 PM at the New Covenant Mennonite Fellowship, 529 E. Farmersville Road, New Holland. An additional viewing will be held on Friday, September 25, 2020, from 9 to 10AM at the church, followed by funeral services at 10:00 AM with Pastors Luke Martin and Andrew Myer officiating. Interment will take place in the adjoining church cemetery.

Mabel W. Brubacher, 77, of Greenwich Township, Berks County, died Monday, January 13, 2020, in her residence, surrounded by family. She was the wife of Daniel N. Brubacher. They were married November 6, 1973. Born in Caernarvon Township, Lancaster County, she was a daughter of the late Noah R. and Martha M. (Weaver) Shirk. Mrs. Brubacher was a member of the Groffdale Conference of Mennonites and attended Center Mennonite Church, Kutztown.
SURVIVORS: In addition to her husband of 46 years, Daniel, Mabel is survived by her children: Paul S., husband of Ruth Ann (Burkholder) Brubacher, Len-hartsville; Arlene S. (Brubacher), wife of Elton Z. Sauder, Kutztown; Nelson S., husband of Laura N. (Burkholder) Brubacher, Withee, Wis; Noah S., husband of Sarah B. There are 35 grandchildren; 47 step grandchildren; and 49 step great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mabel was predeceased by step sons Marvin Z. Brubacher, Earl Z. Brubacher, deceased husband of Linda B. (Weaver) Leid, a step daugther, Elaine Z. Brubacher, a sister, Erma W. (Shirk) Zimmerman; three grandchildren and a step great-grandchild.

Richland - Eva W. Brubaker, 95, of Richland, passed away on Monday, October 5, 2020 in the Richland Christian Home, Richland, PA. She was the wife of the late Henry Brubaker who died in 1989. She was born in Ephrata on July 5, 1925, a daughter of the late Noah Zimmerman and Elizabeth Wise. Eva was a member of the Richland Mennonite Church.
She is survived by children, Richard L. Brubaker and wife Mary of Myerstown; Henry Cleason Brubaker and wife Sara of MO; Shirley Marie Ramer and husband Dale of Austin, PA; nine grandchildren; thirty-one great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; sister, Elizabeth Horst of Leola.
She was preceded in death by daughter, Lou Ann Smith; great grandson, Adrian James Meulenberg; sisters, Edna Groff, Anna Weiler, Verna Martin, Bertha Weaver and Edith Burkholder; step mother, Frances Eberly.

Myerstown - Eva Z. Brubaker, 91, of Myerstown, died on Friday, November 27, 2020 in her home. She was the wife of the late Howard G. Brubaker. She was born in New Holland, Lancaster County on April 26, 1929, a daughter of the late Ezra S. and Anna Margaret Zimmerman Martin. Eva was a member of the Mt. Zion Mennonite Church of the Weaverland Conference.
She is survived by children, Marlin husband of Irene Brubaker; Wilmer husband of Rebecca Brubaker; Eleanor wife of Ivan Martin; Evelyn wife of Edwin Martin all of Myerstown; 28 grandchildren; 99 great grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren; brothers, Hershey husband of Anna Martin; Willis husband of Alta Martin both of Lebanon; sisters, Edna wife of Barton Sensenig of Myerstown; Alta wife of Alvin Musser of Memphis, MO; sister-in-law, Edna widow of James Martin of Cocalico.

Brubaker, Judith Ann "Judy" Antrim
February 4, 1943 - May 11, 2020
Judith Ann "Judy" Brubaker, 77, of Stevens, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2020, at The Gardens at Stevens.
She was born in Allentown to the late Carl and Beverly (Bowers) Antrim and was the wife of Emanuel G. Brubaker with whom she would have celebrated 58 years of marriage on June 16th.
She was a member of Churchtown Mennonite Church (Lancaster Conference) in Narvon. In addition, she was a Sunday School teacher and a Bible school teacher for many years while attending Red Run Mennonite Church and Mohler Church of the Brethren. She was the best at cooking and baking! Her greatest joy was spending time with all her grandkids and great-grandkids. She was also an avid Pittsburgh Penguins fan, much to her husband's and son's dismay who are Flyers fans.
Judy worked as a nurse's aide for Good Shepherd Home, Allentown and Parkside Manor, Reamstown. Her true gift was caring for others.
In addition to her husband, Judy is survived by a daughter, Tracy L., wife of John Nissly of Stevens, a son, Chad R., husband of Jessica (Noll) Brubaker of Reamstown; five grandchildren, Justin Sensenig, Jennifer Nissly, Stephanie Beiler, Collin Brubaker, and Ivy Brubaker; six great-grandchildren; three brothers, Carlton Antrim of Massachusetts, Gary Antrim of Reading and Richard Antrim of Allentown; two sisters, Beverly Bitting and Kathleen Reichelderfer, both of Allentown.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra S. Moore and a sister, Carol Greenwalt.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family with interment at Red Run Mennonite Cemetery.

Brubaker, Lynford R.
August 29, 2013 - December 11, 2020
Lynford R. Brubaker, age 7 years, 3 months and 12 days, of the Town of Reseburg, passed away at his residence from leukemia on Friday, December 11, 2020.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Meadow Brook Mennonite Church in the Town of Withee. His final resting place will be at the church cemetery. Henry Burkholder, John David Zimmerman, Charles Nolt, Alvin Leid and Elvin Fox will officiate. Pallbearers will be: Delbert Leid, Michael Ringler, David Brubaker and LeEvan Brubaker. Visitation will be on Monday, December 14, 2020 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at his parent’s residence (N14014 Sterling Avenue, Withee).
Lynford was born on August 29, 2013 at home, the son of Marlin Z. and Grace Ann (Ringler) Brubaker. He struggled with leukemia for over four years and finally the Lord called him home.
Lynford is survived by his parents: Marlin and Grace Ann Brubaker; one sister: Alisa Brubaker, four brothers: Jarell, Jeremy, Kendon and LaRay Brubaker; paternal grandparents: John and Lavina Brubaker, maternal grandparents: David and Anna Ringler, 32 uncles and aunts and four step-uncles and aunts.
He is preceded in death by a grandmother: Pauline Ringler and an aunt: Loretta Zimmerman.

Tylan Scott Brubaker, 2 of Richland, passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2020. He was born on September 14, 2017 in Fredericksburg, the son of Dwayne and Jalisa Brubaker.

Brunk, Thelma Ketterman
July 11, 1928 - September 10, 2020
Thelma Ketterman Brunk of Harrisonburg, passed away Thursday, Sept. 10, 2020, at the Burkholder House, VMRC, at age 92.
Mrs. Brunk was born on July 11, 1928, in Pendleton County W.Va. to the late Burrel Ketterman and Nida Bennet Ketterman. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Dr. James R. Brunk in December 2015; infant twin daughters, and a brother, Norman Ketterman.
She is survived by her sisters, Avinell Weaver, Harrisonburg, Va., and Sherry Brown, Keezletown, Va.; her children, Bob Brunk (Keri Sue) of Harrisonburg, Va., Beth Bergey (Robert) of Hellertown, Pa., John Brunk (Juli) of Bradenton, Fla., and Dr. Don Brunk (Becky) of Bellingham, Wash.; 13 grandchildren, and 14 ½ great-grandchildren.
She attended Eastern Mennonite HS and EMC. She worked in the allergy department at University of VA Hospital while her husband attended UVA. She was the founding member of Charlottesville Mennonite Church, and since 1963, a member of Harrisonburg Mennonite Church, where she was involved in activities and committees for many years. She was a past president of the Rockingham Harrisonburg Auxiliary to the Medical Society and served several years on the Board of Auxiliary to the Medical Society of Virginia.
They lived in Charlottesville 15 years before returning to Harrisonburg, where Dr. Brunk practiced internal medicine until his retirement in 1994.
The joy of her life was her family and dear friends. No one could organize a big group and feed them like she could. She set a strong example for her family. Thelma extended her family circle by years of hosting international students and helping them adjust to living in a foreign culture.
The casket will be closed and there will be no visitation or register book at the funeral home.
Family will gather at the graveside for a private service.

Delmar - Wendall Jay Brunk, age 67, of Delmar, MD, went home to Heaven on Tuesday, March 3, 2020, after suffering a massive heart attack. He was born November 13, 1952, in Lima, OH, to the late Norman Henry and Clara Irene (Hartman) Brunk. He was a member of Salisbury Mennonite Church.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Janet Ruth (Yoder) Brunk; children, Regina Gascho (Eugene) of Resaca, Georgia, Nadine Amstutz (Leroy) of Hope, Indiana, James Brunk (Sandra) of Salisbury, Maryland, Suzanne Reinford (Brian) of Chaffee, New York, Rachelle Diaz (Reds) of Salisbury, Maryland, Darya Kraemer (Durrell) of Hammond, Illinois, and Daniel Brunk (Lisa) of Parsonsburg, Maryland; and 23 grandchildren; his 5 brothers and sisters, Nolan Brunk (Barb) of Logan, Ohio, Sharon Renno (Bill) of Danville, Pennsylvania, Wesley Brunk (Nancy) of Carbon Hill, Ohio, Pat Miller (Titus) of Seaboard, North Carolina, and Elaine Brunk of Logan, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, David Brunk.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2020 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Delmarva Evangelistic Church, 408 Gordy Road, Salisbury, MD, where a funeral service will be held on Monday, March 9, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Salisbury Mennonite Church Cemetery.

Bryan, Elmer S., 86, of Perkasie, PA died March 26, 2020 at Ottsville, PA. He was born December 23, 1933 at Plumsteadville, PA to Howard and Aquilla (Shelly) Bryan. On June 18, 1951 he was married to L. Joye Fox, who was born November 22, 1934 and survives.
Surviving are three sons: Gregory, Jeffrey and Stephen; a brother, Howard and a sister, Ruth.
His siblings: Claude, Robert, Jane, Chester, Joan, Pearl, Marion and Floyd preceded him in death.

Buckwalter, David P.
September 25, 1949 - January 15, 2020
David P. Buckwalter, 70, of Brickerville, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, January 15, 2020.
He was born in Philadelphia to the late Jacob and Fannie (Eberly) Buckwalter and was the husband of Sandra L. (Strauss) Buckwalter, with whom he would have shared 50 years of marriage in October.
He was a member of Crossroads Community Fellowship where he served as a lay leader for many years. He enjoyed leading singing and teaching Sunday school.
After working as a respiratory therapist during his 1W service, local tragedies during Hurricane Agnus inspired him to train to become a paramedic. He served with Brickerville Ambulance, Ephrata Medic Unit and was a certified trainer for the Red Cross.
He worked in various roles for several medical companies, including Breathing Services, Pediatric and Adult Health Services and Respitech Medical from which he retired in 2016. For the past two years he worked part time driving for Executive Printing and more recently volunteered with Mennonite Disaster Services.
In recent years David developed a love for bicycle riding and was always training for the next big ride. He adored his grandchildren and was ever present at their music and sporting events.
In addition to his wife, David is survived by three children, Kyle D., husband of Rachelle (Shenk) Buckwalter of Lititz, Julie M., wife of Curt Knepper of Denver, Joshua W. Buckwalter of Ephrata; five grandchildren, Samantha and Braden Buckwalter, Leah, Colin and Lydia Knepper; eight siblings, Ruth Anna, wife of James Willis of Texas, Mary, wife of Gerald Brubaker of York, Naomi, wife of the late Paul Herring of Florida, Jacob Buckwalter, Jr., husband of Rhoda of Duncannon, John Buckwalter of Lebanon, Daniel Buckwalter, husband of Helen Buckwalter of Alaska, Susan, wife of Kim Arbaugh of Virginia; a sister-in-law, Vickie, wife of the late Benjamin Buckwalter of Texas and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Fannie, wife of the late Charles Shell and a brother, Benjamin Buckwalter.
A viewing will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2020, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at Crossroads Community Fellowship, 1060 E. Newport Road, Lititz. An additional viewing will be held on Monday, January 20, 2020, from 9:30 to 11:00 AM at the church followed by a Celebration of Life at 11:00 AM with Pastors Nelson Martin and Glen Sell officiating. Interment will take place in the Hess Mennonite Cemetery.

January 22, 1924 - March 30, 2020
Margaret E. "Peggy" Buckwalter, 96, of Lititz, and formerly of Manor Township, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 30, 2020, at United Zion Retirement Community, Lititz. She was the wife of the late Richard G. "Dick" Buckwalter, and they shared 70 years of marriage together. Born in Lititz on January 22, 1924, Peggy was the daughter of the late Jacob S. and Anna Erb Hess.
Peggy was a homemaker and helped her husband on the family farm. She leaves a legacy of Christian faith and love of her family and friends. Peggy took whatever life had in store for her. Her hobbies included photography, scrapbooking, journaling, and flower gardening. Peggy had a servant's heart and enjoyed doing things for others whenever she could. She was a member of Millersville Mennonite Church and Sunday School, and in her earlier years volunteered her time to the activities of the church.
Surviving is a son, Michael R. husband of Joan Wolgemuth Buckwalter, of Mountville, three grandchildren, Matthew R. Buckwalter, of Lancaster, Jonathan M. husband of Caroline Reist Buckwalter, Katie E. wife of Brian Kiefer, both of Columbia, five great-grandchildren, Owen, Molly, August, Easton, Grace, a sister-in-law, Susan Hess, of Mount Joy, and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Robert L. Buckwalter, two brothers, Melvin E. and Paul C. Hess, and three siblings in infancy.
The family would like to thank the caring and compassionate staff of United Zion Retirement Community and Hospice & Community Care for the excellent care Peggy received.

Buller, Erby P.
May 30, 1923 - December 6, 2020
Erby P. Buller, 97, of Hesston, passed away peacefully Sunday, December 6, 2020 at his home. He was born May 30, 1923 in Goessel, Kansas, the son of Henry P. and Susanna (Pankratz) Buller. Erby was united in marriage to Esther Friesen on August 16, 1948. She preceded him in death on August 5, 2014.
He worked as a plumber and started his own plumbing contracting business in Wichita and later opened a plumbing business in Liberal, Kansas. In 1963, he moved his family to Hesston, Kansas and worked as an electrician and later opened his own electrical contracting business, Hesston Electric.
He is survived by his son, Stan Buller and wife, Janis Dunn of Hesston; grandson, Brian Buller of Canon City, Colorado; great-granddaughter, Taylor Farren; and brothers, Orlan Buller of Manhattan, Kansas and Larry Buller and Wife, Marietta of rural Newton.
Erby was also preceded in death by his parents; son, Rodney Buller (2014); and siblings, Adella Buller, Melvern Buller, Elva Scheussler, and Luella Hamilton.

Ada H. (Weaver) Burkholder, age 90 years and 18 days, currently of Shiloh, OH and formerly of Fleetwood, PA, died Thursday morning, December 31, 2020 at her home. Ada was born December 13, 1930 in Earl Township, Lancaster County, PA, the daughter of the late John O. and Leah (Horst) Weaver.
Together with her husband, Aaron, she established Burkholder’s Farm Fresh Produce located east of Fleetwood. She was a member of Fleetwood Old Order Mennonite Church, Groffdale Conference.
She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Aaron Z. Burkholder; 9 children: Norman (Mabel) Burkholder of Mertztown, PA, Harvey (Rachel) Burkholder of Shiloh, OH, Elvin (Verna) Burkholder of Shelby, OH, Aaron (Phyllis) Burkholder of Shiloh, OH, Eli (Elsie) Burkholder of Greenwich, OH, John (Verna) Burkholder of Fleetwood, PA, Harold (Dorothy) Burkholder of Shiloh, OH, Mary (Ralph) Zimmerman of Shiloh, OH, and Emory (Ellen) Burkholder of Kutztown, PA; a son-in-law: Harvey Zimmerman of Shelby, OH; 75 grandchildren; 172 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; 3 brothers: John (Edna), Elmer (Elizabeth), Eli (Mabel) Weaver; a sister: Mary Zimmerman; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Alverta B. Burkholder, 85, of Narvon, died Friday, June 12, 2020 after a brief illness at Lincoln Christian Home, Ephrata.
Born in Clay Twp., she was a daughter of the late John N. and Lydia M. (Burkholder) Rutt. Her husband, John W. Burkholder, died May 18, 2017.
Alverta was a homemaker and a member of Weaverland Mennonite Church, Weaverland Conference.

Anna Magdalene Burkholder, 81, a resident of Dayton, passed away Friday, May 15, 2020, at her home. Miss Burkholder was born Oct. 7, 1938, in Dayton and was a daughter of the late John Samuel and Vernie Magdalene Knicely Burkholder.
She was a school teacher and a member of the Old Order Mennonite Church.
Surviving are a sister, Norma Koogler of Rockingham; brothers-in-law, John Rodes of Mount Crawford and Allen Beery of Dayton; sisters-in-law, Martha Burkholder of Mount Crawford and Virginia Ann Burkholder of Dayton; and many nieces and nephews who knew her as “Aunt Ann.”
In addition to her parents, Miss Burkholder was preceded in death by her siblings, Earl Burkholder, Vernon Burkholder and wife, Betty, Mark Burkholder, Sadie Rodes, Wilda Rhodes and husband, Joe, Beulah Koogler and husband, Paul, Eunice Beery, Mildred Knicely and husband, Lowell; and a brother-in-law, Ervin Koogler.

Anna N. (Sensenig) Burkholder, 88, of Ephrata, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2020, from natural causes not related to COVID-19.
She was born in Lancaster County to the late John B. and Mary (Nolt) Sensenig, and was the wife of Titus W. Burkholder with whom she shared 69 years of marriage.
She was a member of Valley View Mennonite Church.
Anna was a homemaker.
In addition to her husband, Anna is survived by six children, Michael (Laura) Burkholder of Lititz, Melvin (Ellen) Burkholder of Cambridge Springs, Gerald (Rosene) Burkholder of Kennes, IL, Doris Jean (Vernon) Weaver of Elverson, Anne (John) Burkholder of Colby, WI, Glenn (Margaret) Burkholder of Bancroft, Ontario; 43 grandchildren; 110 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Noah (Esther) Sensenig of Quarryville, John (Pauline) Sensenig of Nottingham, Melvin (Phoebe Ann) Sensenig of East Earl; five sisters, Ruth Hoover of Myerstown, Frances (Harlan) Martin of New Holland, Evelyn Snyder of Ephrata, Verna (Leon) Burkholder of Ephrata, Esther (Lloyd) Fox of East Earl and a brother-in-law, Ellis Martin of Ephrata.

Burkholder, Dale Allen
July 11, 1957 - February 20, 2020
Dale Allen Burkholder, 62, of Keezletown, died Feb. 20, 2020. He was born July 11, 1957, the son of Martha Burkholder and the late Earl Burkholder. He was also preceded in death by daughter, Carolina Star, and brothers, Wayne Burkholder and Galen Burkholder.
On May 27, 1984, Dale was united in marriage to Karen (Horst) Burkholder, his wife of 35 years, who survives.
Dale is also survived by four sons, John Anthony Burkholder of Keezletown, Bradley Burkholder, Joshua Burkholder and Andre Burkholder, all of Bridgewater; sisters, Eva (Keith) Crider of Strasburg and Janet (Ed) Fleming of Waynesboro and brother, Olin Burkholder of Waynesboro.
Dale was the owner/operator of Dandee Printing for almost 30 years. He attended Truth, Light and Life Mission, a church he helped to start, and was an elder there.
Dale suffered from kidney failure the last five years, and at the end two strokes. Now, he is enjoying perfect health, hugging Carolina Star and praising Jesus.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 23, 2020, at Grace Covenant Church with Pastor Mahlon Riehl officiating. Burial will follow the service at Pike Mennonite Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, at Johnson Funeral Service in Bridgewater.
Burkholder, Darla J., 38, of Ephrata, passed into the loving arms of Jesus on Monday, January 13, 2020, at Gardens at Stevens.
She was born in Lewisburg and raised by her adoptive mother Anna S. Burkholder.
She attended Muddy Creek Mennonite Church.
Darla worked for Lighthouse Vocational Services for 17 years.
In addition to her adoptive mother, Darla is survived by four siblings: Michelle Burkholder of Ephrata, Meranda Burkholder of Lancaster, Brianna and Damien Burkholder, both at home; three nieces and two nephews.
She was preceded in death by brother, Leroy James Burkholder.

Dorothy L. Burkholder, 86, of New Holland, passed away at home on Sunday, November 15, 2020.
She was the wife of the late R. George Burkholder who died in 2018. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Elam L. and Edna Augsburger Kauffman.
Dorothy was a homemaker and a member of Cedar Lane Chapel. She enjoyed gardening, birds, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving is a son, Wilmer L. husband of Lisa Groff Burkholder of Bowmansville; two daughters, Shirley A. Burkholder of New Holland, and Linda wife of Karl Beckett of Denver; four grandchildren, Jeffrey Parmer, Ryan Parmer, Samantha Burkholder, and Lydia O'Donnell; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Samuel husband of Mattie Kauffman of Ronks, and Amos husband of Sarah Kauffman of Lewisburg; three sisters, Anna wife of Daniel Kramer of Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, Elsie wife of Ivan Beachy of Free Union, VA, and Carol wife of Amos Stoltzfus of Gap. She was preceded in death by a sister Marian Lapp.

Elaine A.M. Burkholder, 78, of Lancaster, entered into the arms of Jesus surrounded by her loving family at Hospice & Community Care of Mount Joy, PA. She was the wife of Melvin M. Burkholder and celebrated their 60 years of marriage together on August 1, 2019.
Born in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late Paul L. Fink and Helen S.L. (Hamsher) Fink.
Elaine was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who enjoyed spending time with her family, playing games and regular breakfast and lunches with her high school classmates.
Surviving in addition to her husband are five children: David P. married to Connie (Becker) Burkholder, Brownstown, Michael L. married to Dawn (Stoltzfus) Burkholder, New Holland, John M. married to Shelly (Cardina) Burkholder, Leola, Deborah L. married to Stephen Erb, Akron, and Lisa M. married to Robert Boyd, Lancaster. She was blessed with 16 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her brother, LeRoy C. Fink.
The family will receive friends at LCBC Ephrata Campus, 6 Hahnstown Road, Ephrata, PA from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 and on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at the church from 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM. Fay Lisa Burkholder, 47, of Denver, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2020 in the Hershey Medical Center. Fay was the loving wife of Nevin M. Burkholder for 28 years. She was born on August 25, 1972 in Lebanon, Lebanon County and was the daughter of Hilda F. Lehman Eberly of Myerstown and the late Henry M. Eberly. Fay was a member of Faith Mennonite Fellowship.
In addition to her husband, Fay is survived by daughters, Jalisa Fay and Joelle Lynn. June 21, 1931 - April 13, 2020
Landis E. Burkholder, 88, of New Holland and formerly of Denver, passed away Monday April 13th at Penn Medicine LGH after a brief stay at HCR ManorCare Lancaster.
He was the son of the late Amos Rutt Burkholder and Mary N. Martin Burkholder and the husband of Gladys Hershey Burkholder, currently residing at Garden Spot Village in New Holland.
In addition to his wife, Landis is survived by two sons, David A. Burkholder of New Holland and John H. Burkholder, husband of Gwen S. Burkholder of Columbia and a daughter, Joyce E. Martin of Coatesville and six grandchildren. Landis is also survived by his brother, Daniel M., husband of Margiann A. Burkholder of Denver and a sister Leah R. wife of Lester J. Wiker of Holtwood.
Landis retired from Woolworth Warehouse in Denver and worked part time at Weaver's Market after retirement. In previous years, he worked at New Holland Machine, Weaver's Poultry, Skyline Homes and served in 1-W during the Korean War. He also operated a small farm in Denver most of his life, which is now called "Burkholder's Ever-Green Farm" and is owned and operated by his brother Dan and his wife Margi.
Landis was an active member at Stumptown Mennonite Church for many years and appreciated the great friends in his Sunday school class.

Lebanon - M. Lloyd Burkholder, 92, of Lebanon, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 in Fairmount Homes, Ephrata, PA. He was the loving husband of the Anna Mary (Martin) Burkholder for 71 years before her passing in March 2019. He was born on June 3, 1927 in East Earl, Lancaster County to the late Michael and Emma Weaver Burkholder.
Lloyd was a farmer and member of the Fairview Mennonite Church, Weaverland Conference, where he served faithfully as a minister for over 50 years.

Mark W. Burkholder, 73 of Myerstown, entered into eternal rest after a battle with cancer. He was born in Jackson Township to the late Raymond and Alice (Weaver) Burkholder, and was the faithful husband of Edna (Reiff) Burkholder. They celebrated their 50th anniversary in December 2019. He was a member of Grace Mennonite Fellowship Church of Ephrata, PA. He was a lifelong farmer.
In addition to his wife, Mark is survived by 10 children: Linda, wife of Michael King, Hardinsburg, KY; Dennis and Elaine, Arborg, MB; Marvin and Carolyn, Lyons, NY; Nancy wife of Titus Riehl, Lima, Peru; Dale and Anna, Cheyenne, WY; Delmar and MaryLou, Myerstown, PA; Jesse and Melinda, Jonestown, PA; Wesley and Miriam, New Bethlehem, PA; Romaine, wife of Olen Eby, Chambersburg, PA; Curtis and Veronica, Myerstown, PA; 47 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; sisters: Fern Burkholder, Ephrata, PA; Lydian Nolt, Bethel, PA; brother: Leon Litzenberger, Fredericksburg, PA and brother-in-law: Lloyd Garman, Myerstown. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by sisters, Iva Smith, Orpha Burkholder, Jane Garman, Dorothy Burkholder, and infant twin sisters Mary and Martha; brothers-in-law William Smith and Elam Burkholder, and infant grandson Randall Keith King.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Clauser Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Burkholder, Moses G.
September 21, 1949 - January 15, 2020
Moses G. Burkholder, 70, of Myerstown, died peacefully at home surrounded by his caring family on Wednesday, January 15, 2020. He was the loving husband of Edith M. (Witmer) Burkholder. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this past September.
Born in Ephrata on September 21, 1949, he was the son of the late Levi H. and Anna Good Burkholder. Moses founded Burkholder's Motor Repair and had worked up until December. He was a member of the Richland Mennonite Church. Moses and Edith served on the church mission in the Bahamas and enjoyed nature.
Surviving in addition to his wife Edith, are three sons: Lowell S. husband of Kimberly (Martin) of Richland, Leslie J. husband of Marilyn (Burkholder) of Richland and Michael D. of Myerstown; four daughters: A. Ruth, wife of Delmas Witmer of Denver, Donna S. wife of Jason Burkholder of Fredericksburg, Diane L. wife of Andrew Wine of Lebanon and Rosa L. wife of Dwight Kauffman of Myerstown; 38 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; three brothers: James of Myerstown, Noah of Selbyville, DE and Christian of Dover; eight sisters: Mildred wife of the late Harry Dieffenbach of Richland, Martha wife of Ronald Putt of Webster, KY, Grace wife of Dennis Bennetch of Fredericksburg, Fay wife of Daniel Renno of Danville, Nancy wife of Clarence Burkholder of Myerstown, Priscilla wife of Mervin Kreider of Myerstown, Eunice Rissler of Lykens and Miriam wife of Mark Witmer of Myerstown.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Rachel M. wife of Eldon Martin of Womelsdorf, two infant grandsons, and four sisters, Cora Burkholder, Margaret Horst, Esther Rissler, and Phebe Martin.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. on January 21, 2020, at the Richland Mennonite Church, 399 N. Race St., Richland. A viewing will be held at Fairview Reception Center, 141 Jackson Rd., Lebanon, on Monday, January 20th, from 1:00-3:00 p.m. and 5:00-8:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service in the adjoining church cemetery.

Burkholder, R. Bernell, 69, of Bethel, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2020, at Fairmount Homes.
He was born in Ephrata to the late Eli M. and Helen L. (Reich) Burkholder and was the husband of Lillian A. (Hartranft) Burkholder.
Bernell was a member of Fairhaven Mennonite Church, Myerstown. He was a self-employed dairy farmer, farm service technician and grain roaster operator. He had a passion for sharing the love of God with others. Sometimes that was done with his family while hunting, fishing or relaxing at the cabin. Other times, through his church leadership responsibilities or a mentoring ministry.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Wilbur E., husband of Regina Burkholder of Bethel, R. Bernell, Jr., husband of Janelle Burkholder of Rome; eight grandchildren, Amber, husband of Nathan Zimmerman of Myerstown, Ashley husband of Adrienne Burkholder of Bethel, Amy, wife of Trevor Brubaker of Lebanon, Ariana Burkholder of Bethel, Kyle, Natacha, Hannah and Gavin Burkholder of Rome; one great-granddaughter, Natalie Zimmerman; three siblings, Donald, husband of Miriam Burkholder, Ann, wife of Dale Eberly, Susan, wife of Chris Beachy and a sister-in-law, Alma Burkholder.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Barry Burkholder and a granddaughter, Chelsea Burkholder.
A viewing will be held Sunday, January 5, 2020, from 1:30 to 4:30 and 6 to 8 pm at the Fairview Reception Center, 141 Jackson Rd., Lebanon. An additional viewing will be held Monday, January 6, 2020, from 9:30 to 10:30 am, at Fairhaven Mennonite Church, 801 S. Railroad Street, Myerstown, followed by his funeral service at 10:30 am, with Ministers Gerald Martin, Matthew Martin, R. Bernell Burkholder, Jr. and Merle Gingrich officiating. Interment will take place in the Lebanon Valley Mennonite Church Cemetery.

Emma B. Byler, 95, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on February 13, 2020 to her heavenly home. She was born August 19, 1924 in Morgantown, PA, daughter of the late Jonas and Rachel (Beiler) Stoltzfus. Before moving to Lancaster, PA, 11 years ago, she lived in Clayton, DE, and was a member of Central Mennonite Church, Dover, DE.
Emma, widow of Ervin S. Byler, is survived by 5 living children; Roman (Susie) Byler, Pine Grove, PA; Barbara (David) Martin, Lancaster, PA; Rudy (Naomi) Byler, Smyrna, DE; David (Kim) Byler, Clayton, DE and Rachel Byler, Lancaster, PA. Also surviving are 24 grandchildren, 75 great-grandchildren and 20 great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband Ervin; 5 children, Simon, John, Ervin, Jr., Lydia and Martha; 1 grand daughter-in-law; 2 great-grand daughters and 1 great-great-grand daughter. She is also survived by two sisters, Rachel Shetler of Farmville, VA and Naomi Yoder of Meyersdale, PA.
Family and friends are invited to a memorial service at 10:30am on Saturday, February 22 at Central Mennonite Church, 220 West Denney's Road, Dover, DE 19904. A viewing will be held on Friday, February 21 from 6pm to 8:00pm at Central Mennonite Church.

September 8, 1929 - March 10, 2020
Martha N. Byler, 90, of Narvon, Lancaster County, PA passed to her heavenly home at 5:35 p.m. on March 10, 2020 at Zerbe Sisters Nursing Center. Born September 8, 1929 in Allensville, PA she was the daughter of the late Jacob B. and Elizabeth (Lizzie) Yoder Byler. She was raised by her uncle and aunt Rudy M. and Lena H. Byler until the age of 14. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. In addition to her parents and uncle and aunt, she was preceded in death by sisters Edna N. Hostetler (George), Ruth K., Elizabeth E., Lydia A. Cardell (Thomas, Jr.), Edith M., and Esther U. Byler.
Martha worked many years at Welsh Mountain Home, Narvon, PA. She was an appreciative servant of the Lord who could be found reading her Bible.
A viewing will be held at Allensville Mennonite Church, Allensville, PA on Monday, March 16 from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. followed by a meditation by Pastor Robert Zook. Interment will take place at the Allensville Mennonite Cemetery.
